EYE HEALTH EXAMS
Detecting eye health problems is the most important facet of an eye exam.
Our Doctors of Optometry thoroughly check all our patients for cataracts, glaucoma, retinal holes, macular degeneration, and general health problems which may have ocular manifestations, such as diabetes and high blood pressure. As a highly trained health professional, your optometrist will provide a detailed evaluation of your vision and eye health.
Children need to be checked at 6-12 months, at age 3 and annually thereafter. With the use of special drops you optometrist can determine how well the baby can see, if the eyes are equal in power and development and then examine for eye disease.
