Our Eye Care Team

At Maple Ridge Eye Care, our friendly optician team of seven are ready to meet your every eye care and eye exam need. Our optician team is focused on serving you. Our team of three frame consultants, Janice, Paul, and Helen bring decades of experience in frame and lens selection to help you both look and see better. Janice also works as the Office manager and Paul as the Contact Lens and Optical Lab manager. In the Patient Care department, Robin, Julie, Lauren or Vivian will greet you and ensure your eye exam appointment proceeds smoothly. In addition to our optician team, Maple Ridge Eye Care's front office staff perform several valuable eye exam tests prior to you seeing the doctor. These include eye pressure measurements in helping to detect glaucoma, a visual field screening exam, corneal assessments for contact lens fittings and digital retinal photography to aid in assessing eye health.

Paul Tallarico, Licensed Optician and Contact Lens Fitter

 

We are very pleased to welcome Paul Tallarico as our new dispensing optician and licensed contact lens fitter.  He joins Janice in our boutique optical as an expert in selecting the perfect designer frames for our patients, while also operating our new Nidek in-house laboratory to provide fast, one-hour service for most prescriptions. 

As a contact lens fitter, he specializes in the proper fitting of astigmatism and bifocal contact lenses ensuring that our patients can enjoy the freedom of contact lenses no matter what their specific eye care challenges.  If you are having difficulty reading with or without your glasses, feel free to ask him what your contact lens options are.
